About DinkyKitty
DinkyKitty was set up by two friends, Samba and Ken, to write news and reviews about gadgets, films, hardware, software and anything else that takes our interest.
We realised that between us we own and buy a lot gadgets, and one day in early May 2008 Samba said "we should create a site to review all this stuff!" and the rest is history (or will be once the site is a bit older).
Unlike other review sites, we aren't sent things to review by the manufacturers (although if you want to send us stuff, its always welcome!) Instead, we have bought all the things we review with our own money, and we bought them in order to satisfy a need or want in our lives, which we believe gives our reviews an edge when it comes to deciding if something is good or not.
You are unlikely to find DinkyKitty filled with hundreds of pages of graphs and statistics showing that product X is 0.73% faster than product Y on average. We aren't interested in benchmarking, we are more interested in real-world concerns like quality and ease of use.
You can also expect articles, comments and features about gadgets, technology, science and entertainment, as and when we have the creative urge!
